Description:  This is the PRR side of the joint yard, tracks ran to the left of center of photo and back into a single track where the buildings are. In the 1800's there was a turn table and round house located where the trees behind the trailers are now.

Title:  Old PRR ROW
Description:  The two railroads crossed a little ways back from here at first. Sometime in the mid 1900's, after passenger trains got longer, it was moved to the location in the last photo. The switch to the left here goes to the CSX Illinois Sub. The brick building is the Union Depot, at one time it was a grand two story hotel at the crossing of three railroads. The B&O (now CSX) crosses just past the Depot.
